Prince Edward was charming and unlike most princes of his time, he was very modern and roguish, often wearing a vest and leather jacket over his shirt. He never fancied the life of a royalty and more often than not, he'd wished he was a simple commoner who wasn't confined within the walls of the palace. He longed for freedom and would only be granted this from the moment he weds. Like every other king and queen, his parents wanted nothing less than a distinguished lady of a respectable family to bear them grandchildren... That night, Prince Edward was feeling pretty uncomfortable in his formal royal wear. So much fussing about on simple clothes, I don't understand the high society. After all, we are the ones adorning the garments, why must we all torture ourselves with such terribly uncomfortable outfits? He asked his personal assistant and good friend.
As he prepared to leave, he looked once more into his reflection, ensuring his short and trendy hair looked stylish and roguish - the thing that distinguishes him and portrays his character.
